Data collection

The Uganda Wall is designed to collect minimal data. When you visit our site, we do not use cookies for tracking purposes. We do not use Google Analytics or Facebook Pixels.

Submission data

When you submit a report, we collect only the information you explicitly provide in the form. We automatically strip metadata (EXIF data) from uploaded images to protect your location privacy.

Data retention

Verified reports are intended to be a permanent historical record. However, unverified or spam submissions are deleted after 30 days.

Third parties

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to outside parties. Aggregate, anonymized data may be shared with international human rights NGOs for advocacy purposes.
